Tender Loving Care was founded in 2008 by Dr. Susanna Aldridge to provide high quality medical and surgical care for pets in Martinsville, Bloomington, Mooresville, Greenwood and surrounding areas. Our goal is to serve pets and people with an emphasis on compassion and education in every interaction. We consider it a privilege to care for your pet, and we want to partner with you to give your furry family member the best possible experience. We want your pet to enjoy seeing us as much as we enjoy seeing him/her, and we use gentle techniques, treats, and calming medicine when needed to help them feel relaxed and not anxious. We also want you to feel comfortable, and we spend the time to answer your questions and educate you about what your pet needs.

We provide wellness care, such as routine exams and vaccinations, screening lab work such as parasite screening and blood panels, and parasite prevention counseling, such as options for heartworm, flea, and tick control. We also provide diagnostics and treatment for common medical problems such as itching, ear problems, diarrhea, vomit, and limping;  and we also partner with specialist veterinarians to manage complex and chronic problems. Our modern technology, such as paperless charts, digital radiographs, and online communication tools like texting, allows us to care for your pet better and to share information with you and with specialists very efficiently.
